Bedding : | |
Bedding refers to the materials laid above the mattress of a bed for warmth. Bedding
excludes the mattress, box spring and bed frame. Down materials are often used for
warmth in bedding. To seek bedding means a person will retire for sleep, to his or
her bedding. Bedding is also used in reference to bed sizes in hotel rooms and vacation rentals. The US generally accepted bed sizes are: King Size -also called Standard King or Eastern King- measures 76" wide x 80" long California King -also called Western King- measures 72" wide x 84" long Note: when referenced as a King it is assumed a Standard or Eastern King is used. Queen Size measures 60" wide x 80" long Full Size -also called The Double- measures 54" wide x 75" long Twin Size -also called a Single- measures 39" wide x 75" long |
